When we first saw shorts over leggings on MEN, we thought it had a very sporty vibe. Designers have different interpretations but this look from Givenchy’s Spring-Summer 2009 Menswear Collection is the most wearable.
Givenchy scrunched up leggings around the knees to resemble knee pads!

One of the reasons we started this blog is because we wanted to take you behind the scenes of every collection, ad campaign, event, fashion show, and yes, even daily office grind. Compelling stuff, I kid you not.
For instance - today the Oxygen designers asked us to fit some samples so they can see how it looks on real people (vs. perfect, 6ft tall mannequins). It’s really cool because we got to see the upcoming collection months in advance!
So you put on the garment, they scrutinize it, make some comments and… re-cut the fabric WHILE YOU’RE WEARING IT. How very Project Runway!
The awesomeness of this moment hits you when you realize that that little piece of cloth they just cut up will be sold in Oxygen boutiques all over the country.
When it sells, we’ll tell you which one!
